Park Inn by Radisson Hotel Toledo

The staff were kind, and both the hotel and my room were pretty clean and presentable. I did have to call while sitting outside in my car because the parking instructions weren’t clear. You’re supposed to use the same lot as the Seagate Convention Center. The plumbing seemed old, and the shower needs updating. Its floor was unusually slippery. Otherwise, the hotel was pretty nice.

I’ve stayed here around a dozen times on business trips and never had a complaint. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and it’s convenient for downtown. Rooms and hallways look a bit dated but are always clean. There’s an adequate bar and decent food, with other options close by if you want something more upscale.

We had a wonderful view from the very nice room, and I loved staying here. Since the hotel connects to nearby events, we didn’t have to deal with the weather on our way to the concert. The free shuttle was a big help for dinner, dropping us off and picking us up promptly. Our driver, Brandon, was friendly and shared extra information about getting where we needed to go. It was an enjoyable stay, amazingly affordable, and I’d highly recommend this hotel. I’ll definitely come back.

From the room I had a spectacular view of Toledo Mud Hens stadium and downtown Toledo, and the hotel is close enough to walk to restaurants and the riverfront parks. I did both. For the price and location, it’s a fair value, and I’d probably book again despite a few issues. The room was mostly clean, with a comfortable bed and chairs. The shower worked fine over all three of my showers, with no trouble with pressure or temperature. It does need renovation, though. There was water damage on the ceiling, the entry light worked only sometimes and worried me in case it might short out and start a fire, and the TV picture looked a little off. I only watched briefly before bed, but it should work properly. The paid garage is a decent walk away, so unload your bags first. The photo showing the garage is the one to use. Parking itself was fine, though I had to contact the attendant to get out because the computer didn’t read my ticket. It’s unfortunate that the underground garage 20 feet from the hotel isn’t for customers.
