Days Inn by Wyndham Fargo/West Acres

It was so quiet that I slept really well with those pillows. I loved them so much I wanted to take them home. The hot shower was wonderfully hot, and the coffee was great. Breakfast was delicious, with waffles and all the toppings.

Allie(?) was an absolute champ with me and my family, and the hotel was very accommodating in general. It seems to be getting a soft remodel. I can't speak for everyone, but my room was much nicer than the last time I stayed. Breakfast is cold continental, with several waffle makers, and there's a coffee machine available 24/7. There's no workout room, but the pool is nice.

It's a nice, quiet place with very clean rooms and friendly, helpful service. I gave it four stars because there was no hand soap, so you had to use the body and hand wash from the bottle on the shower wall. They only had one shampoo and conditioner for hair, too. That felt a bit cheap and was inconvenient, though manageable for one night. No coffee pot in the room, but coffee was ready at 5am.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Still, I wouldn't stay again until the hotel gets a complete refresh. The rooms looked nothing like the ads: the carpet had been ripped out for cold laminate, headboards and wall decor were gone, leaving holes and empty spaces, and the wall hooks were missing. There was nowhere to hang outdoor jackets, and even the coat closet had no hangers. They'd put new flooring in but left old mouldings. The shower badly needed repair and updating. After one use, water from the loose shower head and gaps in the curtain and walls flooded the bathroom. The two queen room had small, uncomfortable pillows. Breakfast was okay, and the pool was open only for half our stay. Older reviews made it seem like pool closures are typical. The icy, dimly lit parking lot was a serious safety concern, with no attempt to salt, sand, or scrape it. The price didn't match the quality I expected.
