The room itself was fine, but getting proper rest is the main thing I want from a hotel, and that didn’t happen here. The bed felt worn down and was extremely uncomfortable, so it was hard to sleep. The pillows were even worse, either too flat or offering no real support. I hope management considers replacing the mattresses and pillows. That would make a big difference to the stay.

The staff we met were friendly and accommodating, and the two women at the front desk made check-in fun, smooth, and memorable. The hotel is in a great location. We’ll stay here again when we come back!

The rooms look nice, like they’ve just been redone, but housekeeping was horrible. I walked into a room described as “New Clean” and found hair and stains on both beds, plus dead bugs and hair in the bathroom. The AC was set to 77 and wouldn’t cool the room down. Super frustrating.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Blu. We had a corner room with a wonderful view of the area, and the hotel is within walking distance of a lot of things. Breakfast at the hotel was great, and our waiter was wonderful. Yesterday we also had coffee and Danish at the corner cafe, where everyone was friendly. The staff at the hotel were some of the best I’ve encountered.

Being in the center of Fargo is the best part. Nearly all the attraction viewpoints are close by, and the rooms look good and were clean. The beds weren’t very soft, though, and the rooms connect to other rooms, which was annoying. Noise from the neighboring rooms might disturb you. Breakfast was so-so and tough for vegan people. Still, a good hotel overall.
