The event space and location were nice, and I was considering holding an event there myself. But the pool area was messy, with towels everywhere, and the front desk interaction put me off. At the Indian Wedding Show on 5/17/26, I asked for cups for the water station. The staff member pointed me to a dirty cup sitting in water. When I asked for clean ones since fresh water had been set out, she rudely said, “just use the coffee cups!” It was hot and humid outside, so access to clean water cups mattered. Hospitality counts when people have choices about where to stay.

You feel safe here, thanks to the staff and the way the property is kept, as well as its location. There are plenty of places nearby to eat, shop, and take care of business. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, the lights all worked, and the HVAC ran properly. Even the fitness center was in good shape. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and dozens of Holiday Inn/IHG properties, and this one is well managed. In my experience, that starts with the GM. Sara has done a great job building a guest-focused culture with employees. The location, lodging quality, and price are all very good.

Housekeeping and the night staff were absolutely lovely, but one woman’s behavior really marred our wedding stay. We were six adults, arrived Thursday afternoon, and everything seemed fine until a staff member, who I assume was the manager from how the others reacted, angrily snapped at my socially anxious mother. Mom had noticed gift bags from the bride and groom with our names on them. I know customer service can be tough and people can behave wildly, but lashing out isn’t okay. I’ve worked in customer service too. I don’t know Holiday Inn’s pay or incentive structure, but treating guests with respect should matter. You don’t have to be kind, but taking your frustration out on someone is unacceptable. Also, our shower door wouldn’t stay closed, which made showering difficult in room 603. Please take time off if you’re burnt out 😆🤷♀️

Amanda made hosting my event easy from start to finish. She was professional, gave my team and me excellent service, and went out of her way to keep everything on track. She even came in on her day off, the day of the event, to make sure things were ready. The hotel was clean, and I’d recommend this location.

Everything looked pretty and was clean, but the heat never really warmed the room. I had it set to 70, yet with the cold weather and fan running, it wouldn’t get above 59 until I shut it off completely. And as other reviews mention, breakfast isn’t free.
