Travelodge by Wyndham Farmington

I stayed for a couple of weeks. The toilet went unfixed for the last three weeks of my stay, even after I asked several times, so I had to pour water into the tank to flush. Room service didn’t replace the towels, and some days I was left without any. One chair smelled like urine; I asked them to remove it and put it outside after being told they would get rid of it. The AC was turned off during the hottest part of the day, though it stayed on for the family member next door. I asked repeatedly to have it turned back on. They’ve also changed the motel’s name, so watch out.

The room was clean, and I felt comfortable in it. We chose the hotel because it allowed dogs, but there wasn’t a usable grassy spot for them. The only area was dirt, about 5 by 12 feet, with trash, chicken bones, and loads of sand-spurs. My pup refused to go there.

My three-day stay lasted only eight hours, then I booked somewhere up the street. The grounds were covered in glass and garbage, and someone knocked on my door asking for money. Inside, there was a hairnet over the hole where the smoke detector should’ve been, graffiti scratched into the mirrors and towel bars, a hole in the door, and hair hanging from the dryer. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, with an earbud and crumbs between the beds. Don’t waste your time or money.

We only needed a room for one night, so the low price is what brought us here. The place felt run-down, and the area seemed sketchy. Our beds were dirty, there was no tissue so we had to get our own, and the fridge didn’t work. At checkout, she charged us for something she hadn’t mentioned or made us aware of when I checked in. You can find somewhere better than this.
