It’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was a couple of years ago, and everyone minds their own business. My stay has been comfortable enough and I’ve really enjoyed it. B has been hospitable and always checks how we’re doing, whether we need anything, and how the room is. Thanks, B 😁.
The Anasazi Inn feels pleasant now, and I’m comfortable calling it home. When I first arrived, it felt spooky, with a lot of violence and people breaking into rooms. The new property manager has changed things. He steps in before crime gets out of hand and doesn’t let drunks or gangs hang around.
I stayed here long term for work in 2015. It’s an older motel, but in very good shape, and one of the better values I’ve found while traveling around the country and trying to save money. It was always clean, with fresh towels and trash taken out daily. When they cleaned the room, they did a thorough job. Thanks, Doug.
Tiny blood spots were splattered on the sheets. When I turned on the water, a couple hundred ants came out of the overflow hole. We couldn’t lock our main door, and the connecting door to the next room had neither a lock nor a handle. Luckily, the furniture was heavy enough for me to barricade both doors. Can I rate this zero stars?
For $45 a night, it’s a fair deal and you get what you pay for: a spacious room with a mini fridge, microwave, and TV with a few channels. The water could be adjusted to the temperature you wanted, though it went hot and cold. People were around, but didn’t really bother us, and my car was left alone, as were we. There’s currently no deadbolt. The towels and other items smelled dusty, and some had blood stains, so we didn’t use them. Also, when we left and returned, the person on shift had to let us back into our room.
