La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Farmington

After a long flight, arriving late, all I wanted was a quiet place to sleep. Instead, the noise kept going all night, as loud as being out on the street, and I couldn’t sleep at all. It felt like nobody cared about guest comfort, and the actual experience was nothing like I expected. For the price, it wasn’t worth it. I left feeling cheated, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for peace after a journey, and won’t stay again.

For work, it was my first stay in Farmington, and I’ll definitely come back. The shower had fantastic pressure, the beds were super comfortable, and even though the walls had a few rough spots, the rooms were very clean. Parking was a little tight but manageable. The property was really nice for the price, about half what everywhere else cost. Best place I’ve stayed in years while traveling for work.

I’ve never stayed in a hotel this filthy. There was a squashed roach on the bathroom door, a tub so nasty I wouldn’t shower in it, and stains above the bed. One photo also shows what I can only guess is blood on the bathroom door. I’ll add pictures so people can see for themselves. Don’t spend over 100 bucks a night here. If you can afford this place, you can stay somewhere else in Farmington. Avoid it at all costs.

Everything else went well, and breakfast was good. Our room was nice, and everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The shower was the one letdown: it didn’t drain, so I had to stand in water while bathing. We had a very nice stay at the LA Quinta, and I’d recommend this hotel.
