Encore Motel

I’m done staying at Encore motel. The rooms weren’t well kept, there was hair in the bathroom tub, and I found bed bugs in the beds. The people next door were noisy, obnoxious, and loud.

We reported bed bugs in Room 102, but the guy said they had no bugs. They were huge, and there were black spots on the sheets.

The location was great, with lots of food choices nearby, and the staff were very nice. They offered daily room service. The room was large, with an extra rollaway bed, a big-screen TV, and windows that open. It was otherwise clean and felt safe, though there was litter in the corners and the towels were stained. A bathroom light fixture was hanging off the wall, and the toilet handle had to be jiggled or the toilet would keep running. I expected a little more because the price was higher than I usually pay for comparable places, though prices overall seem higher in the area. For what it is, the place was alright.

The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, were courteous, helpful, and very nice. I stayed for a week and was happy with the experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and more affordable than any others in the area.
