We booked at the last minute, with a queen bed and a sofa bed. I actually slept well on the sofa bed, haha! It was clean and looked brand new. Breakfast was decent and included Belgian waffles, tasty breakfast burritos, cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The coffee was decent too, for you connoisseurs!

I was traveling alone and felt safe overall, though I personally chose to park out front each time. There was always a space there; I’m not suggesting the back parking is unsafe. During my stay there were plenty of contractors and other business travelers, along with visitors to the area. The hotel worked well for my business trip, and I’d stay here for a personal vacation too. My king room had a sofa bed and a full kitchen with cookware, dishes, and utensils; the front desk said it had recently been remodeled, and it looked that way. The lobby and halls were clean, as were the workout room, indoor pool, and conference rooms on the M level below the lobby. A mall and places to eat, shop, and walk are nearby. It’s about 15 minutes from Suan Juan Medical Center and 25-30 minutes from Northern Edge Casino.

The room had been updated recently, smelled fresh and new, and the beds were comfortable. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. New Mexico townplace suites have some of the best breakfast choices, and I loved the hot breakfast croissant and burrito. One of the nicest townplace suites I’ve stayed at, and I’d recommend it.

Getting here from the road is easy, and the sofa, desk, and TV were all good. The full kitchenette, large fridge, microwave, and cooking basics make it a good option for longer stays or work trips. This Marriott has been refreshed recently, and I especially liked the new walk-in shower with two showerheads. The controls are positioned so you don’t get soaked when turning it on.
