There are plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and the beds are really comfortable. The rooms feel spacious and relaxing, and the whole hotel was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. The trouble was the noise on the first floor, with people coming and going and talking loudly all night, even during the week. I wouldn't recommend staying down there. The poolside bathrooms were always locked, and the morning water was freezing. It wasn't a bad stay, just noisy.

The staff working Saturday, 12/20/25 at 3:35 pm were so kind and helpful. My husband only had $803 on his card for a $923 total, and they lowered the amount he needed to pay so we could use just one card. We have two kitties, so pet-friendly hotels are a must for us. This one allows pets, with a $75 fee and a $300 deposit for our four-night stay. We were switching from Wyndham/Laquinta inn because of convenience and price, but Hampton inn has been the better choice. It's clean and professional, and we'll come back even though it's farther from his job. Edit: I really don't like the $15 parking charge. There's no security, so I think it's just a money grab. It isn't a deal breaker, but this won't be our first choice.

The indoor pool was warm and clean, and breakfast is included, with really good waffles. Whenever I visit family on the island, this is my usual hotel. The rooms are very clean, the staff are friendly, and being right by the LIE makes it easy to get wherever you need to go. A very nice place to stay.

We had a clean, comfortable room for an overnight stay with our Labrador Retreiver. Kevin Raynor at the front desk and Ishmael, the night front desk gentleman, were super friendly and made check-in and checkout easy. Highly recommend!

The parking charges were a real letdown. I checked in for two nights and was given a receipt showing the stay and a $200 deposit. The concierge said that deposit would be returned after I left, but nobody mentioned parking. After checking out at 3:00 a.m., I only noticed at my destination that I'd been charged $32 for two nights of parking. I called to complain, but they refused to adjust it. I think $15 is too much, and the surprise was especially disappointing from Hilton hotels. I'm a veteran and a honors member, and after staying for what seemed like a competitive price, I probably won't return. It's the most absurd thing I've heard of. Shame on you Hilton hotels!
