Comfort Suites Knoxville West - Farragut

Breakfast was my favorite part, and late checkout at 11:00 am was a nice extra. The free breakfast bar had coffee, different juices, bagels, waffles, cereal, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, and fresh fruit. Everyone on staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was a really memorable stay, and I'd definitely come back.

My husband stays here a couple of times a year for a week while he's in town working. He comes home saying the owners and staff make him feel like family. He says it feels like a home away from home and is the best property he's ever stayed at. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, this is it.

The staff were very friendly, and we had a quiet, restful night in a spacious, clean, comfortable room. The price was great, too. I liked having lots of shelves, a luggage stand, and a long bench for bags, even though there weren't any drawers. The adjustable magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a great extra for old eyes. There's a beautiful, clean indoor heated pool. Breakfast was the usual sort of spread, with several kinds of bagels and pastries, eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, yogurt, chocolate milk the kids will love, and fruit like bananas, apples, and oranges. It looked newly updated. I noticed a small leak near the sink and reported it. There were also a few paint chips near the bottom of the bathroom door and a bit of floor stripping at the top, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

The front desk staff were dismissive and rude. They said we were getting a discount even though the Choice app still showed a one-night total of $111 on arrival day and after check-in, while we were charged $160. I wouldn't have minded paying that amount if the service and room had matched it, but they didn't address our concerns. The hallways smelled overwhelmingly foul, and the lobby and room were worn, dirty, and poorly maintained. The fridge and microwave didn't work. The heat and AC were off when we arrived, and turning on the heat brought a strong, disgusting odor. This property doesn't compare with other Comfort Inn locations. The stay was unacceptable and far below Comfort Inn standards.
