Econo Lodge Williamsport

We ended up here after our first reservation fell through close to 11 pm, following an almost two-hour drive. The front desk attendant was friendly and efficient, got us checked in fast, and recommended a local pizza place. The office and common area were neat and clean, with lots of seating, a public restroom, washer and dryer, fireplace, and a welcoming bunch of plants from an employee. The room was clean and in good shape, and the kitschy MCM decor was a nice touch. Everything worked as it should. The bed wasn't anything special, but it wasn't noisy and I slept well enough. I did miss having a bathroom fan. On the plus side, the water was genuinely hot and the tub drained well, both must-haves for me. The location isn't scenic, but it wasn't an issue and it's near everything, with a Sheetz across the parking lot. There's a small free breakfast in the common area, but we didn't try it, so I can't comment on it. For the price, this was a good experience and met my usual expectations. It also came through for us at the last minute.

The rates are quite reasonable, and the staff were polite and nice. Our room was fairly clean. When our key didn't work, the staff sorted it out right away.

I stayed there from October 2024 until I couldn't afford it anymore and left. After that, they decided to kick me off the property. I called to ask why, but the Manager Amy couldn't be bothered to call back and explain. This hotel is a joke. I only had one issue during my time there, and they dealt with that ASAP.

I asked the woman whether breakfast was available, and she said they had muffins and pastries. When I asked about a hot breakfast, she said no. I didn't choose to stay here. Clarence did.
