Paradise inn

Paradise has a calm, welcoming feel that makes you feel at peace, whether you drop in for a bite or spend the weekend. The employees are laid-back, the food and music are great, and the rooms are too. Everyone, staff and guests alike, always seems happy and friendly, which makes being there even better. It’s my little secret heaven, beyond perfect. I can’t say a bad word about this place.

The staff were incredibly nice and friendly to us and everyone else. We had a beachfront villa with a great pool, lots of fun things to do, and even got to see the Blue Angels fly by. The restaurant’s food was very good, and we loved the comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The rooms were nice, and thankfully there were no cockroaches. The floor was dirty from the beach, though, the shower was really small, and someone took our parking spot. They also kept our dirty towel for some reason, so I guess it was going to be thrown into a fire. We loved the stay and will come back in another 16 years.

Our room was comfortable and clean, and we had a good stay. The public beach is only a short walk across the street. Breakfast is offered, which is nice, and the bar and grill space was lovely. The food was decent, and the live music was cool, though the drinks weren’t the best. It’s a small place with just a few employees, so keep that in mind. Parking was a little unusual. If you need accessible parking, call ahead to make sure you can get a room you can reach and park near. I also agree that the room could use another mirror. A full-length one on the bathroom door would have been appreciated.

For island beach vibes, this is the place: low-key, with an awesome bar and sand right by the water. Just don’t expect a five-star hotel.
