Chief Motel

We paid $105 for one night, and my wife and I were treated like this. She is recently disabled and uses a wheelchair, but this place wasn't accessible. She was left waiting outside for a long time while trying to check in, with no help from staff. Getting the wheelchair inside was a struggle too, which is completely unacceptable. Later that night, after I got there from work, we noticed metal brackets sticking out from the bed frame. We both slammed our shins into them and got hurt. The brackets even tore my pants the next morning. That's a serious safety hazard, not ordinary wear. This morning we found roaches and another unidentified bug in the room. There was also what looked like fecal matter on the bathroom wall, which made us question how well the room had been cleaned. Management wouldn't offer a refund or any solution. Instead, they blamed us for not reporting the problems sooner, though we only discovered them late at night and in the morning. We gave them a chance to make things right, and they didn't. If they'd handled it properly, I probably wouldn't be writing this, but I'm leaving a review because she showed no accountability. My wife will be posting one too. I might consider taking mine down if they refund us for this awful stay. For $105 a night, you'd expect a room that was at least safe, clean, and accessible. This was none of those. If I'd known, I would have paid the extra $42 for a different property last night. With the accessibility problems, hazards that caused injuries, roaches, other bugs, poor cleanliness, and no accountability, this place isn't worth the risk. Avoid this motel at all costs. We each ended up with bleeding shins, and my favorite linen pants, which they don't sell anymore, were ripped. 💩
