Even with the hotel busy on January 2, when lots of families were traveling, everything felt organized. The room was clean and a good size, and the staff were friendly and polite. There was plenty of parking, and the hotel is right off I-95 with fast food nearby. I couldn't get the YouTube app on the TV to work, possibly a glitch. I'd stay again while traveling.

After a long drive and a late arrival, the kindness from the team and even other guests was such a welcome surprise. Just after 1 AM, someone was already at the desk to buzz us in before we could reach the call button. Check-in was quick, the beds and pillows were soft and comfortable, and breakfast was fresh and good. Staff kept checking whether we needed anything. One kind woman even made waffles for me when she saw I was juggling the machine with one arm while holding a baby. Other guests offered to help with coffee and carrying plates too. Big thanks to everyone.

The location was great, but the hotel needs some work. Our room was barely clean, and the foam pillows smelled smoky.

The rooms were bright and clean, and everyone from the front desk to breakfast was friendly. I wasn't a fan of the rooms having no carpet, though I assume that makes them quicker to clean and helps hide wear.

We've stayed at lots of Hampton Inn locations, and some are better than others. This one is among the better ones, with friendly staff and clean rooms. I'm not sure why it's rated as a 2-star facility.
