Radisson Hotel Philadelphia Northeast

The parking lot is huge, so finding a spot was no problem. The staff were helpful, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable, too. Honestly, this was the best hotel room I've found within a 30 mile radius, especially compared with the other options around the Raddison.

The people are great, and the location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants nearby. Renovations are underway and what I've seen looks good so far. Most of the room was fine, but the bathroom felt only partly updated: it had an old toilet and tub, alongside a nice mirror and vanity.

The staff are solid and deserve to be thanked, so make sure you tip them well. The indoor pool is lovely, and the restaurant is great. They've renovated recently, and the rooms are nice, with ambient lighting, two sinks, and great beds. Parking has never been an issue for me. They must have one of the biggest lots in SE Pennsylvania. This is easily my favorite local hotel, and I don't think you'd be disappointed.

We left early and won't be back. The construction noise started at 8am every other day, including Christmas Eve. We had to ask staff to get the workers to stop so we could sleep. They did it for one day, then the noise started again. I don't understand why guests weren't put in wings or on floors away from the work. Downright awful, and I wouldn't recommend this place. We'd driven from Florida to be within 15 minutes of family for Christmas, and the location seemed like a good midpoint for visiting everyone. The reviews were mixed but leaned negative. Since we hadn't been before, I wanted to give the place a chance, especially because the complaints about indoor construction were over a month old. The room was next to the pool and smelled strongly of chlorine when we walked in. I thought it might be manageable since we'd only sleep and shower there. The shower was a gamble between getting hot and staying lukewarm. After a full day out in the freezing weather, I wanted a proper hot shower, but rarely got one. We also had to get new room keys regularly because they wouldn't open the door when we came back.
