I’m a double amputee and currently use a wheelchair. When I called to reserve, I told the reservation staff I was wheelchair bound and was assured it wouldn’t be a problem. But after I paid for a week and got the room keys, my friend took me to the other side of the hotel, where there’s a step up into every room. How did they not realize that was a problem? The reservation staff handled it very poorly. The manager handled it well and immediately voided the charge so I could go somewhere else, but waiting a few stressful, annoying hours for the money to return to my card was still rough. I wasn’t impressed. Choice Hotels has gone downhill. Relax Inn is super cheap, but dated and rarely available on weekends. Days Inn by Wyndham in Vineland is also a decent option. They’re always friendly and helpful at both places.

The TV was so weak I couldn’t even watch it. The picture below was supposed to show a basketball game, but you couldn’t tell what was on. Every channel looked like that. The room itself looked like a normal hotel, but the bed had bumps all over it, like one of those old metal pull-out couches.

Beth at the front desk was really nice and courteous. She helped sort out our check-in issues and did it all with a smile.

For 2025, $150 for a same-day reservation isn’t terrible. I arrived at 3am with a trailer, and the overnight person helped me find a place to park. The room was fine, no issues, and I’d stay again.

5.11.25, room 202. The room was dated but clean, with the amenities you’d expect. Even the coffee maker was clean, which seems hard to find at hotels. The linens were decent, and the staff were friendly. I didn’t try breakfast, and the pool wasn’t usable. I’d certainly stay here again.
