There were six of us when we arrived, and the front desk clerk assumed we were all staying at the motel. I explained that two people were staying with friends nearby, but she still seemed very suspicious. She asked for everyone’s IDs and said she photocopied them, which felt odd since I’d never had that happen before. Then she called our room to ask when we were leaving and gave us a made-up sounding extra guest charge. The front desk attitude was rude.

My friend had a room here, and when I went up to hang out with him, the woman told me to leave because visitors weren't allowed. She treated me like I was some kind of criminal. She was awful and rude, and I don't understand why anyone would want to stay here.

There were ants all over the floor in our room. Please don’t stay at this motel.

The bed was comfortable, and the heater and TV were the best parts of the room. The rest made for a pretty miserable stay. We woke up with no electricity, so there was no hot shower, no way to contact management from the room, dead phones, melted ice cream, no light to get ready, and a cold room. When my boyfriend spoke to the manager as we packed up, he seemed completely unconcerned and acted like the power being shut off wasn’t his problem. We’d reached Federal Way around 6:30 after a horrible rainy drive from Everett, with bumper-to-bumper traffic, and decided to put off crossing the pass to Ellensburg until the next day. After dinner, around 8:30, we found this motel nearby. The “lobby” was the sidewalk, and the woman there looked like smiling was out of the question. I handed her $100 and we went to our room. We needed the Wi-Fi password, but the room phone wouldn’t reach her. The fridge was tiny, so our ice cream melted. The curtains were worn, the bathroom was cramped, and there was only one bath towel for two people, plus one hand towel and no bath mat. No shampoo, conditioner, or regular soap either, just a little 1960s-style hand soap. There wasn’t a coffee maker or coffee, and there was none in the “lobby” either. I work for Marriott, where customer satisfaction is our number one goal, and this place failed badly on that front. This is my second review because I hate seeing people get Shanghied. Come to Everett and pay a little more for a room. We’ll make it worth it.🐾💯🐾

The manager was nice and had a good sense of humor, and he came through for us when every other hotel was full. Thanks for that. The beds were cozy, though the room looked dated and had a nice flat-screen TV. There were six kids and two adults, but we got only two large towels and two cute little soap bars. We also didn’t want to drink the water.
