The Mill Hotel

I was born in this town, so staying here brought back some nostalgia, and you can really experience its history in the converted flour mill. The ceilings are high, with remnants of the mill still visible. My room was simply decorated in brown, black, and white, with a rustic feel and a sense of quality. The wall by the window was white brick. Across the street, a farmer's market was happening in the community park. The bed was comfortable, too. I especially appreciated the fresh air from what I think was central air. My husband had COPD, so I pay attention to air movement, and I didn't need to adjust the thermostat.

The location is great, and staff respond quickly if you need anything, even though you might not see anyone during your stay. This isn't a typical hotel, which is what makes it such an experience. It may be the coolest place I've stayed. Highly recommend.

Friendly, accommodating management and an easy walk to downtown shops, good restaurants, and the riverside park. The rooms are funky and spacious but still feel warm and comfy. Chairs and decor tucked into the hallways soften the warehouse atmosphere nicely. A lovely, unique hotel experience in Fergus Falls, MN. A must stop!

The location worked perfectly for getting to nearby restaurants and the brewery, and I loved the hotel. I had made a booking mistake and didn't actually have a room for the night we planned to stay. I emailed the contact, and someone replied within 30 minutes and arranged a room for us. I really appreciated the quick help. Since the hotel is so new, I have just a couple small suggestions: a messaging app such as WhatsApp for issues would be helpful, and a rug or two in the room would be nice.
