Days Inn by Wyndham N Orlando/Casselberry

The location was convenient, but the room was filthy. The bathtub looked disgusting and seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and we found a dreadlock by the bed and table. The door had a gap that let sunlight in and had to be slammed to shut. I stayed upstairs on the fourth floor, and nobody told me smoking wasn't allowed outside my room. Signs said no smoking within 25 ft of the building, so I had to go all the way downstairs each time I wanted a cigarette. The man who checked me in was hard to understand. They charged my card separately for the room, a deposit, and an extra $5 per night because I don't live in Florida. That's ridiculous. I'd rather sleep in my car than stay there again.

I only picked this cheap place for a night in Orlando, but ended up searching for somewhere else to stay at 2 am. At check-in, the man at the counter was rude, demanded more money even though I'd already paid, and told me to go elsewhere when I asked questions. They also demanded a deposit on arrival that hadn't been mentioned. I had to check in through an outside window and couldn't even enter the building. This didn't feel safe for kids, and I wouldn't bring a family here on vacation. I should've listened to the bad reviews.

The property was dirty during my stay, and when I raised it, the front desk staff member was rude and dismissive, both on the phone and in person. It made me uncomfortable bringing up anything else. Looking through the reviews, I saw other guests reporting the same cleanliness problem. Management keeps replying with the same generic apologies and says housekeeping will be addressed, but I don't see any real improvement. Guests shouldn't feel brushed off over legitimate concerns. Those apologies don't mean much until something actually changes.

Our sheets were dirty, housekeeping skipped cleaning the room, and there were huge roaches. It was a horrible stay, and I wouldn't come back. Please stay somewhere else. I just don't want anyone else to go through what we did.
