The employees were attentive and very nice to deal with. The room, though, was dirty, and the TV didn't work. I tried calling the front desk, but the phone wasn't even connected to the wall. We'd chosen the place because the pool would be fun for our grandkids, then found a notice saying the indoor pool was closed for winter. I couldn't understand why an indoor pool would be closed then.

It's one of the cheapest places around, with large rooms, and there weren't any bugs. I stayed downstairs, though, and with no floor mats it was hard to avoid tracking mud inside. There were crumbs on the sheets, and I chose not to shower there. The rooms feel dirty and poorly kept, more like a cheap motel. Fine if you only need somewhere to sleep for a night, but don't expect much.

The front door and bathroom looked as if they'd been repaired after someone broke into the room. The bathtub seemed unclean, the TV didn't work, and the towels were brown and stained. The sheets were an odd color, so I slept in my clothes both nights because I was afraid of catching something. My recommendation: don't stay here. Sleeping in your car feels safer. RUN.

The hotel refunded my money, which I appreciated, but I'd strongly advise against staying here. The room looked decent at first. Then I checked the bed and sheets and found a bedbug infestation. I had to seal everything I own in plastic. It's not worth the risk.
