Hampton Inn & Suites Pensacola I-10 N at Univ. Town Plaza

The staff made this overnight stop on our drive from Texas to Orlando feel especially welcoming. Lee and Laura were so friendly, and even pointed me toward food nearby. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was good too. I called later to compliment them, and hearing how happy they were about a simple kind word made me feel good. I'd stay again whenever I'm in the area.

I'm a big Hampton fan and stay at your hotels often, which is why this needs fixing. I warmed my coffee in the microwave, as the photos show, and burned my fingers picking up the cup. There wasn't any warning on the cup or near it, and nothing in the room said not to microwave them. The morning desk clerk seemed to brush it off, though maybe she'd have reacted differently if she'd been burned herself. Hilton should know better. Please put up a warning. This seems like something that could have happened before and could happen again, and guests should be warned about a known risk. The pictures show no warning and how someone could pick up the cup and get burned. Learn from this.

The continental breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean with everything working properly. The staff we met were polite and professional, and check-in was quick and easy. We were there for one night.

We really appreciated Gina's help. We had to skip our regular room cleaning because our dog needed to stay in the room that morning, and Gina wasn't even assigned to us, but she still cleaned our suite. She also folded the towels into a swan and added a lovely big yellow orchid-like flower that smelled great. She went well beyond her duties. It felt like being on a cruise ship :))
