The grounds seem to have garbage everywhere all the time, even though the staff work hard cleaning up. Driving through the side can take ages because people double park or block the whole aisle while stopping to socialize. Rooms aren’t fully clean when you get them. The walls and doors have dirt and writing, some surfaces are unclean, and there are cigarette burns on porcelain in non-smoking rooms. No hair dryers, either. Go in at your own risk.

The front desk is friendly and helpful, and the staff make sure the room has what you need. I’m looking for a cheap place where I won’t get bed bugs or roaches, and this one does the job for me. Fancy isn’t a requirement when I’m ballin on a budget. The rooms need redesigning and upgrades, and some other guests aren’t the friendliest, Fife’s finest if you know what I mean. Still, the low nightly price reflects what you get, so there’s no deception about the quality. If you need an inexpensive place to stay, it’ll fit the bill.

There was a used condom tucked under the bed edge, which my wife accidentally touched. Gross. After showering, my feet turned black from the carpet. Housekeeping seemed very poor, the owner didn’t seem involved, and I’m still waiting for a reply to my complaint call two weeks later. They offered no breakfast or internet, and there were only eight or nine channels to watch. The establishment is slowly being remodeled. From outside it looks all right, with lots of cameras, though it’s hard to tell whether there’s actually a big monitoring room or lots of small ones, or whether the cameras are really there.

The location was central to the places we needed to visit, but walking in, we immediately wished we could change our minds and get our money back. The cheap rate wasn’t worth it. The comforters felt like U-haul moving blankets, with cigarette burns, and the sheets and towels were stained. There were unknown marks on the walls, thick grime on the lamp wall plating, and the carpet felt so gross we wore socks. The sheets and pillows seemed so iffy that we bought our own, which we’ll have to leave behind to fly home. We should’ve paid more for a hotel where we felt safe.
