Holiday Inn Express & Suites Firestone Longmont by IHG

I ended up driving across the street and had a room key in under two minutes. My reservation was eventually canceled and refunded after I called, but the whole situation left me frustrated with IHG. I won't try booking here again, and I'm more wary of the app and check-in process now. I travel for work about 45-60 nights a year, usually with Hilton or Marriott, though IHG has generally been a decent value. I have Diamond or equivalent status with all three, and I've never had an experience like this. While passing through, I made a last-minute reservation in the app around 2:00 a.m. for the Holiday Inn & Suites in Firestone. I arrived soon after and waited about 15 minutes for someone at the front desk. When the clerk came out, he said they couldn't honor it because the nightly audit had already happened. I asked whether there were rooms available. He said there were, but I couldn't check in until after 3:00 p.m. that afternoon. I couldn't believe they'd turn away a frequent customer and asked if there was any flexibility, but he told me there was no possible way to check me in.

We had comfy beds and clean rooms, and the breakfast choices were appreciated. There were cheese omelets and veggie egg-white omelets, and my husband liked the biscuits and gravy.

The morning breakfast was fresh, tasty, and delicious. The staff were professional and courteous, and the whole hotel felt clean and welcoming. Michelle at the front desk was always helpful when we had questions.

Devanshi brought such a lovely mix of energy and professionalism to breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked, and breakfast had lots of delicious choices for different tastes. Thank you for all you do, Devanshi, from an appreciative guest. Love and Light Beloved’s
