I booked through Priceline and called the day before to say I’d arrive after midnight. They told me that was fine, that my room wouldn’t be cancelled, and I could call the on-site employee to check in when I arrived. But when I got there at 2 a.m. and called, they said my reservation had been cancelled. No one had told me. I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night and pay three times what my original booking cost.

There was nobody here after 10 p.m., and I and other guests were locked out of our rooms for nearly an hour. Even a state policeman couldn’t help after being called. They had to get someone from another location to reactivate our keys. The key system is old and out of date, and other hotel guests had to help me get inside. This is a safety hazard, and the place should be investigated and shut down. There’s no staff at night, and that needs fixing. If you want somewhere better, go to the Marriott, Hilton, or Best Western. I wish I could give this place zero stars. Don’t come here.

We walked in, got a strong smell of cat pee in the room, and immediately left. Before that, we saw people actively doing drugs in the parking lot and taking things from the dumpster, while staff argued about another employee at check-in. I looked past all of it to see the room, but this place didn’t feel safe for families. Don’t book here.

I travel more than 300 days a year for work, and as a 62-year-old woman I’ve never been treated so unprofessionally. Priceline made a mistake with my booking. The desk person showed no interest in helping, and when I called Priceline, they tried calling the hotel but nobody answered. They emailed too, and I waited an hour before being told the hotel said it hadn’t received the message. I had $1,100 worth of reasons to expect better treatment. In the end, the front desk person threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave. Why show up if your staff won’t help? Please don’t stay here or assume the low price means it’ll be okay. No one deserves to be treated this way.
