The oversized shower alone made the stay feel special, with its spa-like design and relaxing feel. We spent three nights at Hotel Hartness for a couples getaway, and the elegant, peaceful property was perfect for a romantic weekend. The room felt like a private retreat, while the calm atmosphere and carefully crafted cocktails added to the experience. On arrival, we had a wine and charcuterie board delivered to the room. It was thoughtfully chosen and beautifully presented, and those little details helped make the price worthwhile. Everything, from the service to the ambiance, felt intentional. Hotel Hartness is a sophisticated, intimate place to unwind and enjoy time together in Greenville.

We loved our time here and plan to return. The hotel is beautiful inside, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the bartenders were quick and knew their stuff. The staff did an exceptional job keeping the place in great shape.

Hotel Hartness is still one of our favorite places to stay in the Upstate. We've been several times and always enjoyed the atmosphere and Patterson Kitchen + Bar. On our latest visit, the complimentary breakfast buffet had been replaced with a café, where coffee and a light breakfast now cost extra. It was still a pleasant experience, but we missed the old breakfast setup.

We had a great mother-daughter weekend, with plenty to enjoy around the property. We walked the trails, spent time at the spa, and enjoyed the fireplaces, breakfast, and food from the lounge. The hotel looked beautiful with its holiday decorations. During one of our many walks, we came across a little farmers market selling organic produce from the Hartness Farm. The spa was fantastic and easy to reach on foot from our room. We took an Uber downtown to Greenville for dinner each night, but next time we'll try Patterson. I definitely recommend having a charcuterie board and prosecco waiting in your room when you arrive.

Everything about our two-night stay at Hotel Hartness was easy and beautiful. We were in Greenville for a wedding a short distance away, and loved the rooms, common areas, grounds, staff, and restaurant. The place has a real resort feel, and the staff made it even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back when it's warmer and try the pool.
