We booked another stay for a couple of weeks from now, and I'm already looking forward to seeing the friendly staff again. For a last-minute trip with my wife and kids, I picked the Canyon Inn Motel on a limb and couldn't be happier with how it went. I expected little because the property is small, but it turned out to be comfortable, clean and well maintained, with genuinely outstanding customer service. I judged it by its cover at first and was completely wrong. I'm more than 1000% satisfied. The staff patiently helped me search when I thought I'd lost something important, and stuck with it until the situation was resolved. The room was nicely decorated and welcoming, and cleanliness mattered a lot to us while traveling with kids. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, and after a long day the shower stayed incredibly hot even through a solid 20-minute shower. That stood out in the cold winter weather. I don't often say this about hotels, but I 100% recommend Canyon Inn Motel to anyone willing to stay here. I'll update this review with pictures and more about my next visit. For now, it's a hidden gem.

I've stayed here twice now, and both visits were great. The location is hard to beat, just a few minutes' walk from downtown Flagstaff. The first time, check-in was easy, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet despite being on the main road. On my second visit in 2026, the room was clean and the heater worked well in the cold weather. They'd also put a new coffee machine in the lobby. I'll be back.

It's a nice little motel near downtown, and Angie gave excellent customer service. The room wasn't horribly dirty, but it could've been cleaner: there was hair in the bathroom and food stains on some furniture.

The staff were great, and one of them spoke English well enough that I joked he could be a truck driver. The room and bathroom were roomy and wheelchair accessible, but there were no grab bars at all. I also really liked having Swiss Miss hot cocoa with the coffee bar. Thanks.
