The location is excellent, with plenty of places within walking distance, and room service was very convenient. There’s a gym, swimming pool, and two vending machines, though the machines are a bit pricey. The staff were helpful and friendly, responded quickly when we had questions or needed anything, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. A few little things were odd: the walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbors, I wasn’t told about a welcome gift even though Expedia asked if I’d received one, the sink faucet is awkward for washing hands, and the front door lock is weird. Even so, I’d come back. It’s one of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed in, with clean rooms, good service, and a fantastic location.

I stayed about four days while visiting family. When I was leaving, I realized a pair of shoes I’d bought in town was missing. The front desk first said housekeeping hadn’t reported any shoes left behind. I asked to file a report for my missing items, and about 30 minutes later they called to say housekeeping had found them. The shoes only seemed to turn up after I made the report. Make sure you pack everything before you leave. Housekeeping doesn’t report missing items.

The room was updated and nice, and the location off the highway was good. The one problem was room service opening the door at 9:30 AM without knocking, even though I’d already given my checkout time in their email. It’s funny how hotels won’t let you check in until after 3:00 PM, then hurry to get you out.

The heater wasn’t working during this last stay, which was inconvenient. At checkout the next morning, the front desk person didn’t apologize, just said he’d let maintenance know. The front desk is usually friendly and helpful. Overall, a great hotel and staff.

We needed an overnight stop to continue our travels, and the location was great. The beds were comfortable, and all the amenities we needed were provided. They were filming a documentary and doing construction on the building when we arrived, but neither bothered us or my family. Thanks for the service.
