I got sick after eating here and have been throwing up. I’m not sure whether anyone there knows how to make sweet and sour pork, but what they served was nowhere near what the recipe called for. The food order was wrong too, and the customer service was bad. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. There are plenty of better places in Wendover and Elko, so I’d just leave and go somewhere else.

The room was simple but spacious, with two queen beds and a kitchenette. It was spotless, the towels were nice, and the beds were so comfortable we slept well. We didn’t hear any other guests. After a long drive that included a flat tire, it was a relief to arrive. Our host was ready for us, checked us in quickly, and made sure we had what we needed. He saw us off at 8:00 the next morning. A very nice man!

The suite worked well for me, my husband, and our teenage daughter. It had two bedrooms and a kitchenette, and there was plenty of room. Everything was clean, from the fresh paint and new carpet to the comfortable beds and bathroom with its nice hot shower. We also liked watching cable on the living room flat screen TV. The owners were friendly, easy to talk with, and fun. We had dinner at their Chinese food restaurant, and the meals were tasty, with fresh ingredients. The kitchenette was the frustrating part. We wanted to make breakfast before leaving, but there were no pans, dishes, utensils, or anything else to cook with. We had brought a skillet, paper plates, and plastic spoons and knives, but no spatula or forks. When I called the office, the owner's wife said they didn’t have spatulas, but she could give me a few plastic forks. She also said people staying just one night usually don’t cook, and that it’s mostly weeklong guests who use the kitchen. That seemed ridiculous when we’d paid $91.00 total for a room with a kitchen. I said thanks anyway and made do with what we had. We managed to cook and eat french toast and scrambled eggs using our own skillet, plastic cups, paper plates, and plastic cutlery. It was a bit tricky, but we did it. Aside from that inconvenience, we liked our stay.

The owner was really nice, but the room was horrible. I went to shower and found pubic hairs in the tub, presumably from previous guests, which made me think the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. There was a damp, moldy smell in the room, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was awful too. My fiancé and I had been driving all night, so we stopped to check reviews for local hotels and motels. This one looked decent, but we should have kept searching. Honestly, don’t waste your time. Keep driving. I’m starting to think people only leave good reviews because...

It’s an old place, but clean, and things move a little slower here. The people were very nice and friendly. It’s pet friendly, with a fee of 10.00 for each dog. Our apartment had a full kitchen, living area, full bathroom, and two bedrooms with two queen beds. The couch might have converted to a bed, but I’m not sure. We stayed twice while traveling home, and on one visit we didn’t get in until 130 in the morning. Our landlord made sure we could get the key. Thank you!!
