My truck broke down on the drive from Florida to California, so I booked a room at the last minute. I was already stressed, and then walked into the most disgusting room I’ve ever seen. Someone had clearly kicked in the bathroom door, and they hadn’t even cleaned the bootprint off it. They offered another room, but I was dealing with a bigger problem and chose to stay elsewhere. They refused to refund me. Worst hotel experience of my life.

It isn’t luxurious, but it’s a good place to rest and the price can’t be beat. My teenage daughters were critical of the look when we arrived, and I agree it’s an old motel that looks like plenty of others. The room and bathroom were clean, the AC worked well, and there was a microwave and fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we all slept better than anywhere else. The manager was so friendly and made us feel welcome.

The staff were friendly and the location was good for the price. I stayed two nights, and the place was in okay condition overall. The towels smelled bad, so I didn’t want to use them, and there wasn’t a hair dryer.

For the price, the room was warm, comfortable, and great. The location felt safe too. Just be ready for “your parents” to wake you at 10:00am with a shopping cart parked outside your room. A comforting wake up call, lol.

Mike was a cool, friendly guy who really cared about customer service and made us feel welcome. The hotel and parking lot were neat and clean, and our one night stop on the way to CA was so quiet we didn’t hear anyone. Mike told us beautiful Sedona, AZ was less than 1 hour away, so the next day we took the scenic route there since we’d never visited. My husband and I were very happy with our stay. I don’t understand the negative reviews. It’s a charming, clean hotel, and I’d definitely stay again.
