The beds were comfortable, everything worked, and the rooms were very clean, even in the corners I checked carefully. The fresh sheets had only the faintest bleach smell, which I appreciated because it reassured me they’d been disinfected. The carpet looked fairly new, with vibrant color and no worn spots. It’s a very nice little motel with spacious rooms, though the only beds are doubles and the bathrooms are quite small. They could move four feet from the main room into the bathroom and the room would still be spacious. Those tiny bathrooms were inconvenient, and the double beds are why I’m giving it four stars instead of five. I’d definitely stay there again.

The rooms are large and comfortable, and the second-floor rooms have balconies with a nice view. This place felt like going back in time, in a good way. You might not be into it, but I definitely am. I used to travel doing system inspections for Pilot and Flying J, staying in hotels and motels about 21 nights each month. For some reason, this was my favorite place to stay. I’m retired now, but still think about driving nearly 300 miles to visit once more before I croak. Hopefully there’s something worth seeing nearby. It’s a beautiful area.

It was exactly what we wanted for the price: a quiet, clean room, with parking right beside it and plenty of services nearby. The location makes it easy to get on and off I79. There’s a breakfast restaurant on the property, but don’t expect it to be free. There was an apparent food stain on the bed covering.

We just needed somewhere to sleep, and it was very quiet. We smoke, and they offer both options. Pets are allowed too. The carpet is still there, which I can’t even think about walking on. But the hotel up the hill wanted twice as much.

The mattress and pillows were a dream. For a budget stay, the room was good enough for what I needed: dry, warm, and as clean as it could be for the price. The property could definitely use a major update.
