Hampton Inn Flemington

We were first put in a 2 queen room even though I’d paid for 1 king. The staff quickly prepared a king room and even offered us a suite. They were kind and efficient, and I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.

We changed plans and skipped Philadelphia because of the crazy traffic, and needed somewhere quiet near stores and restaurants to land. This worked well for us and our 1 year old. It felt cozy, and we appreciated how clean it was and the amenities. Breakfast was decent, with a good variety, and I enjoyed it. I’d recommend the place.

The pullout bed was the worst we’ve experienced. It wouldn’t lie flat, and the thin mattress seemed to have been replaced by a thin piece of foam. My child had a cold, so maybe the slope helped a little, 😂 but it was still awful. We’re a family of 6 and usually book rooms with pullouts, with low expectations, but this one needs to be tossed. The property looks remodeled and new, and it’s close to dining and shopping. But I felt invisible to the staff. I told the woman working breakfast “good morning”; she walked past with a frown and said nothing. I wouldn’t stay again.

We only stayed overnight, but it was a really nice stop. The room was spacious, clean, and had a great view. Staff were amazing, breakfast was genuinely good, and the whole place was super clean.
