Breakfast was ready by 5:45 a.m., with a good range of choices and a very clean dining area. At 6 a.m. we were promptly driven back to the airport and wished a safe flight. Our room was modern and spotless, and Andy greeted us with a warm smile when we arrived. We’d landed shortly after midnight between connecting flights and called about the shuttle. Andy explained it normally runs until midnight, but offered to check with the driver anyway. He kindly came back for us even though his shift had ended. We really appreciated the help, and would definitely recommend this hotel for a convenient, comfortable airport overnight.

We were in Asheville on business and arrived at the hotel in the evening. A shuttle issue delayed the trip from the airport, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. We were relieved to get checked in, and the room was great. Breakfast the next morning was good too, especially the very friendly breakfast staff, who had a five-star attitude. We’d definitely stay again.

We were in town for a nearby cheer competition, and my daughter and I were really impressed. The clean rooms had comfortable beds, and the lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas. Breakfast was free and delicious, with lots of hot and cold choices. There were free cookies in the lobby and free parking, and the Asheville airport is very close. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.

The check-in felt like getting a key card handed over with no welcome or useful information, including nothing about the breakfast that was already part of the rate. Staff seemed put out whenever guests needed help, and the response about the missing TV remote was argumentative until the front desk worker realized she had mistaken it for one she’d already given me. The building also felt neglected from the moment we walked in. There was an unpleasant odor, the lobby and shared spaces looked uncared for, and the carpet badly needed a deep clean. This does not meet the service or upkeep I’d expect from a Marriott hotel. It comes across as a motel, with poor training and supervision showing throughout the operation.

The location is just off the busiest stretch, which worked out well. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the room was very clean and quite nice. My one small gripe is that mobile check-in wasn’t offered. As a Marriott elite member, I really love using it.
