Quality Inn Thomson Area

The people at the desk were very nice, and the smell in the room was okay. The room itself was clean enough, including the beds, but the bathroom looked terrible and old. The walls were dirty and looked shabby. I was here for a hunting trip, and overall the place was just okay, not the best.

It's in a quiet spot, with a grocery store across the street and a great restaurant nearby.

I ended up losing the whole afternoon and the next morning, and had to bomb my car and wash all my clothes and suitcases. It was terrible. After getting bitten at the Quality Inn, I looked it up and found that the bites could be from bed bugs. The manager confirmed they were there, but said they were only on the top right of the bed. That didn't make sense to me when I had bites on my back, legs, and face. She lifted the mattresses and offered me another room, but I couldn't imagine staying there again. I booked a room at the Hilton in Thomson, half an hour away.

Keisha and Diamond checked me in, and their big smiles and great personalities came with outstanding customer service. My room was spotless, neat, and smelled good. The hotel isn't a new place like you'd find in a bigger city, but the care they put into making it welcoming really made me feel at home. Elegance!
