Days Inn by Wyndham Flint/Bishop International Airport

I’ve been here for weeks with three of my babies, and it’s been decent for the price. It’s calm, not too noisy, and the staff are really nice and professional. They knock every morning to check that we’re doing okay. Breakfast is served each morning, though you have to go over to Baymont for it. Laundry is available too. They’re under new management, and Mr Damien has made a point of checking that my stay is going well. Not every GM checks whether guests are being treated right. Still here, no complaints.

It was 4 AM by the time we settled into a room, and even that one had what looked like a blood stain on the carpet. The first room was worse: garbage and ketchup or some other spill shoved under the bed, then I saw a mouse run underneath it. On the way up, we’d also seen someone who looked like a drug addict asleep on the floor. The nice woman at the desk moved us across the property, but that room had no TV or pillows, and none of the lights worked. I’ve stayed in some dumps, but this was the worst stay I’ve had, and I’ve never written a review before. Please don’t stay here.

Other guests argued loudly at all hours, day and night. We also woke up with bites all over our bodies, though we never saw a bug. It took four days to get towels, and after waiting so long for toilet paper, I went out and bought my own. The place was low quality and definitely overpriced.

Room 362 had a few things that worked, including the TV, microwave, refrigerator, and a toilet that flushed. Most of the bulbs were out, outlet covers were coming loose, the sink was cracked, and the toilet paper holder was broken despite a poor repair attempt. The pocket bathroom door was stuck inside the wall, so it couldn’t close at all. The shower door handle was missing and the valve was loose. They’d put up three pieces of art, but one was missing. And they only left one towel. What the heck.
