Emerald Cove Ii 4b 3 Bedroom Condo by RedAwning, North Myrtle Beach

I like the place, but I'm of two minds about it. The entry system needs an update since some keys work and some don't. The closets are also full of things tossed onto the shelves, and some of it should just be thrown away. Even the microwave filters are filthy. This condo needs some tender loving care.

We stayed in 1B on the first floor, which might have made a difference, but there were a lot of problems. The elevator and hallways consistently smelled of trash and urine, and you have to walk down the road to the separate parking lot to take out the garbage. The Wi-Fi had such a weak signal it was effectively useless. Water taps never got cold, and hot water ran out quickly when more than a few people used it. The master bedroom's advertised spa bath didn't work. The place was dirty when we arrived, with dust and grime everywhere. The oven had a broken burner, though maintenance fixed it. Sliding closet doors were coming off their hinges, many blinds were missing, and the old furniture hadn't been updated in years. The bar stools were falling apart, and the mattresses were so worn we had to pick up foam pads. It wasn't torture staying there, but for the price, chances are you can find somewhere better. There were plenty of beautiful condo buildings nearby.

Even on a cold day in December, this place looked gorgeous. It was very clean and had what we needed, including cups, plates, laundry, and lots of comfortable beds. I'd highly recommend it.

Nothing had been cleaned before we arrived. The apartment was very dirty.
