Hometown inn

Roaches came out after we'd been there a couple of hours, and they don't provide soap or shampoo. It was filthy and bug-infested, and they wouldn't do anything about it. At $60 a night, I figured I'd put up with it because I only needed a cheap room to sleep in for a couple nights. Then our situation changed and we needed to stay longer. Since the weekly rate is $250, we asked to pay the difference and keep the same room for the week, but they said no. We were desperate, or we'd have packed up and gone elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even an animal. It should be shut down.

The staff have been amazing and have accommodated all my needs. They're renovating and trying to update the place, which is a long way from the old hometown inn. It was really peaceful during my few days there. They hosted Easter for the kids, and that's about the only noise I heard. I'll be back!

The staff were friendly, which was the only good thing here. The curtains were nailed to the window, the parking lot hedge line was full of trash, and the bedspread had burn holes. There was just one small, dim light in the main room and no side lights by the beds. There was no phone in the room. I rented for three people but got only two towels and two washcloths, with no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. The toilet leaked around the floor. Nope, never staying there again.

I walked in, took photos and videos of everything, and left. Shameful. There isn't enough space to list all the disgusting things wrong with this place. The final straw was a bathroom toilet with no seat at all. Just don't stay here. If you do, document everything with pictures and be ready to file a chargeback on your credit card, because they won't willingly refund you.
