Eagle Ford Inn

The room was comfortable for a weekend: plenty of space, a clean, roomy bathroom, blackout curtains that worked well, and great AC. I especially liked the beds and pillows, though the blankets were a bit thin. There were extras, plus a mini fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, and satellite channels. It looked like the rooms had been renovated. We were in Floresville for a wedding and needed a place for two nights since home is 2.5 - 3 hours away. We hadn't been to town before, but it seemed like a fairly quiet little place. I checked recent reviews before choosing, as there are several motels off 10th street and I'm pretty particular about where I stay. Eagle Ford Inn is small, but it exceeded what I expected. The lot was clean and well managed, the office was looked after, and the gentleman helping us was friendly and helpful. It had the feel of a family run place. The price for the weekend was very affordable, and I was extremely satisfied with what we paid. I noticed a chip in the bathtub, some mascara-like smudges on the shower curtain, and a missing smoke detector. The first two weren't a big deal, but the detector concerned me. If we're back this way, we'd stay here again.

The rooms were clean, modern, and very nice, and the folks were friendly. The price was great. I would've rated it five stars if there'd been a coffee pot or microwave.

The front desk woman kept my deposit, saying the room needed a deep clean because she claimed I smoked there, though there was no evidence of that. On top of that, the shower drain was clogged, the room was dusty and smelled musty, and groceries I bought spoiled because the fridge wasn't working right. Don't book here.

The staff made the stay for me. They were incredibly kind, chatted with us, and checked that everything was alright. Check-in was easy, the rates were really good, and every room has a microwave and fridge, which was a big help. The rooms were clean, spacious, and exceptional. This is the best inn I've ever stayed at. I'll stay here instead of San Antonio next time.
