The room looked clean and good when we checked in, and the staff were super nice. But the TV remote had most of its buttons not working, and the channel guide was useless. We decided to use the pool, then saw guys repeatedly coming and going through the propped open doors between the outside and the pool area, meeting one at a time at a truck. We minded our business and went in anyway, but that outside door was propped open too, and all the windows were unlocked, most of them propped open. People kept walking around and through the pool area, so we left. The pool was ice cold with a film on it, though the hot tub was okay. Back in the room, we went to shower and found black mold all over the shower head, tub, and walls. The place felt unsettling, with mold and areas that didn't feel safe. This place is nasty.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, though they could use some maintenance. The shower water was lukewarm. The AC worked, but the heater didn't, so with temperatures dropping into the 20s, our room was quite cold. The pool isn't heated, and the hot tub didn't work either. When we turned on the jets, the water smelled bad.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with updated fixtures and finishes, clean linens, and good water pressure. The location was good and it was a great value. The other guests were workers who were respectful to everyone and the staff. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

Valerie was working when I checked in at 3 pm, and she helped me with some printing I needed to get done. She was very friendly and customer oriented, and recommended a good Mexican restaurant. I saw her working again when I booked another night at 6 AM. It was nice to see such a great work ethic in a young individual. Management, you need all the [rest of comment unclear] you can get! The room was clean, and breakfast was great. I definitely recommend staying here if you're in the Floresville area.

The staff were nice, but this isn't a 5 star hotel. The rooms smelled weird, the beds were kind of lumpy, and the shower water pressure was low.
