I got a great deal on the second night by booking right at the front desk. The price was good, and the location, room, and pool were all great. The outdoor areas and tile floors could use a little more cleaning, and the people at reception could be easier to talk to.

Those central gazebos are nice, though they seemed to stay occupied. The place is a handy, budget-minded base for the Keys, the Everglades, and Miami, and while dated, it wasn't terrible. Our bed was awful, and the AC had no fan-only setting. With the road noise nearby, fan sound would have helped me sleep. I might have avoided the bed issue if I'd asked to switch rooms. At about $110 a night, it felt overpriced. We'd stay again, just not at that rate.

The garden and picnic area were stunning, easily the best I've seen. Our spacious room was spotless, the bed was a dream, and the Wi-Fi was strong. The pool was a nice extra, and the area felt completely safe. We had a great stay, a steady 10 out of 10, and won't hesitate to book again when we're back in South Florida. Totally recommended!

The breakfast is offered in a bag, so for a proper meal you'll need to head to one of the many nearby restaurants. Otherwise, we had a good stay: the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the service was friendly.

We asked for a ground-floor room and got one. The layout is nice, with picnic spots outside, and the pool looked good even though we didn't use it. The receptionist was friendly, and they brought the playpen and extra washcloths we requested. Room 604 was clean enough overall, but the shower tile had mold. The AC fan squeaked badly, the fridge made a strange intermittent noise, so we unplugged it, and the phone didn't work at all. It felt like the place might be short-staffed. For what I paid, I was disappointed with the room.
