We booked a block of rooms for our wedding, and everything went smoothly from the first contact through checkout. Communication was easy, details were handled without a hitch, and the whole team was warm, professional, and so accommodating. They made every guest feel welcome and looked after. Our guests kept telling us how comfortable the spacious, spotless, well-maintained rooms were. Check-in and checkout were effortless, a real relief during an already busy wedding weekend. We're grateful for the hospitality and for helping make the occasion memorable. We'd highly recommend this hotel for a wedding room block or other group stay.

The location made it easy to explore the Everglades and try the alligator farm, and it was nice to be outside Miami. The rooms were great, and every staff member I met was professional and personable. Lizette deserves a special mention. She stole a bit of my heart and is a superb ambassador for the hotel.

We stayed four nights in January and chose Florida City and the Home 2 as our base for visiting Everglades and Biscayne National Parks. It worked out really well for reaching the parks and their activities. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked a wedding block and had an amazing experience at the Florida City location. My honeymoon suite came with complimentary champagne and chocolates, and when I stayed the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, our room was decorated with fun stuff too. The staff were amazing. There was a welcome sign for our guests with photos of my now-husband and me, plus a little love story. After that stay, I'd recommend Homes2 suites to everyone.

The full breakfast, outdoor firepit, and central location are nice, but the staff are what make this a five-star property. Lizette works the night shift and is pure joy. She helped with everything from finding restaurants to locating live music on a Wednesday, and made coming in late after a long workday AMAZING. I stay in hotels many times a year, and Florida City will be hard to beat in 2026. Thanks, Lizette, keep up the great work!
