Zion Retreat & RV Park

The playground is great for kids, and we’ve never had any noise issues. The place is clean and nicely located, still close to a Dollar General if you need something and to the local pizza place. We go to Zion several times each camping season.

We really appreciated having a welcoming, well organized place to stay for our spiritual Celebrate Recovery meeting about forgiveness. The cabin was great and very clean. It’s awesome to have a place where believers can come together and give God the glory he deserves. Thank you.

The park is convenient to I70 and about 20 minutes from St. Clairesville, Ohio, and it has beautiful scenery. Overall, it’s a very nice park. My low rating is because of the newest three spots, where we stayed. They have full hookup, but they aren’t finished. They’re basically large gravel pads poured and leveled in the middle of a rice paddy, with standing water. If they’d described the sites that way when we booked, I wouldn’t have chosen to stay. Since refunds weren’t available, we decided to suffer through it.

The amenities are great: full hookup, 50 amp at every site, and free Internet. The public restrooms are VERY clean and modern, and there are lots of activities for kids, so it’s definitely kid friendly. They have HUGE speed bumps to help keep speeds within the very low limits. Everyone has been very friendly, whether long-term campers or weekenders, and the staff, too. It’s one of the nicer RV Parks I’ve stayed in. If you enjoy nature, this is the place to go. Definitely a great place to camp.
