The Hotel Magnolia

After dinner, we told owner Diana what a wonderful evening we’d had and how beautiful the hotel was. She unexpectedly gave us a tour of the old building, sharing its history and pointing out many antique furnishings. She even got her husband Kevin to explain a few things, especially the glass in the front door. Sarah had helped make the evening special too. My wife had hoped for salmon, but it wasn’t on the menu that night. Sarah checked with the kitchen, found some from the previous menu, and offered to have it prepared. It was a thoughtful way to take care of us. My Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Diana and Kevin were friendly, welcoming hosts, and we can’t wait to return.

We had a delicious lunch today at The Hotel Magnolia in Foley, AL. Sarah took great care of us, friendly and efficient, with everything arriving right when we needed it. The food was just as memorable. We started with fried green tomatoes and remoulade, the best I’ve ever had, then had a generous portion of beef tips and noodles in a kind of alfredo sauce. Five stars for both the meal and the service. The Hotel Magnolia is a beautiful place to dine, and I highly recommend it.

Diana gave us a nice greeting, and Sarah was the best server. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared, and Diana's staff were all first class. Ginny and I have eaten at plenty of five-star and Michelin-starred restaurants, and this was an amazing experience. Thank you all for making our 44th Wedding Anniversary dinner so wonderful.

Sarah made our evening special. She has a gorgeous singing voice and really went out of her way to make sure we were happy. The six of us were celebrating my stepson's birthday, and somehow we'd never tried this place even though my husband grew up here. We definitely missed out. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food was incredible. I had steak with creamy mushroom gravy over bowtie pasta. The appetizers were a treat too, especially the mushrooms and fried green tomatoes, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll be adding this restaurant to our plans for future dates and events. Wow!
