Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Folsom

The location is great, but the lack of customer service made this stay a huge disappointment. Our room has gone two days without being cleaned, and nobody seems concerned about fixing it. We usually choose Marriott properties when we travel, but we won't come back to the Courtyard Sacramento Folsom. It wasn't worth the cost or frustration.

There's a decent gym, and the hotel is near restaurants and malls. It would be nice if breakfast came with the room, though luckily there are several places to eat nearby.

I loved that they allow pets. Any place that welcomes pets gets top marks from me. The main downsides were the traffic getting in and out of the Courtyard, a parking lot that fills quickly, and a very slow elevator.

The room was clean when my sister and nephews stayed here over the holidays. My sister arrived very late, and the woman on the overnight shift wasn't very friendly. Later, my sister had overslept, so I called the hotel knowing both the room number and reservation name. They wouldn't connect me to the room, which meant I had to drive over. That felt like a waste of time when one phone call could have taken care of it.
