WoodSpring Suites Fort Worth Forest Hill

The room smelled like vomit, and the blankets and sheets had urine on them. The front desk refused to give us clean ones, saying it was too late. Housekeeping mopped and wiped things down with dirty water, and was rude and spoke no English. The whole building smelled musty, like weed, cigarettes, and dope. There was no privacy. The walls were paper thin, so we heard the next door TV and people talking and laughing, plus everything in the hallways. Strangers knocked on our door in the middle of the night, probably trying to rob us. People wandered around asking us for food or begging, and it felt like someone was always trying to steal something. There were women tricking all over the place, and people dragging all kinds of things inside. They took a $20 deposit and said they'd refund it after checkout, but it's been 3 months and I still haven't received it. Our room wasn't damaged or anything that would justify keeping it.

The beds looked like they'd been salvaged from a prison, and even basic things in the room didn't work. The toilet barely flushed, the TV and remote were dead, and several damaged outlets wouldn't hold a charger or cord. We got just two towels for a room booked for four. The place needs serious cleaning, maintenance, and basic repairs. Rust covered the inside of the elevator and showed up on the room fridges, doors, and other fixtures. The elevator frame and door were dented, as if someone had pried them open. Hallways smelled of musty smoke, and our AC barely cooled. If staff can't keep something as simple as towels stocked, it points to a wider lack of attention and discipline. I wouldn't recommend staying here without major renovations and proper upkeep.

Mr. Brian was patient and really informative, which made everything go smoothly. My room at WoodSpring Suites in Forest Hill was immaculate, well-stocked, and a comfortable place to relax. There was some construction nearby, but it stayed fairly quiet except around rush hour. I spent a few days here and had a very pleasant stay. I'd recommend this location to families or people traveling alone, and I'll return when I'm visiting friends in the area.

We drove over around 2 AM on Memorial Day weekend after our other hotel double booked us. We had called this hotel after speaking with corporate, and were told a room was available. But when we got there, they were fully booked too, and no one could offer any kind of solution. It was really disheartening after driving around so late. Corporate had taken my card information over the phone, so I would've expected them to know what rooms were actually available. The whole thing felt very unprofessional, and it wasn't a good deal.
