Country Hearth Inn & Suites

The location suited me, and the staff were friendly, but I had a mixed stay over a couple of nights. The rooms seemed a bit run-down, and I could hear a lot from the hall at night. I also smelled marijuana. It wasn't awful, but maintenance and cleanliness could use work. I may not return since there are better options.

A handy spot for an early flight out of Atlanta, and I'd come back. The rooms are nicely set up and the beds are comfortable. The shower itself is very nice, though there's nowhere to put toiletries, and no place to hang clothes. Towels are thin but adequate.

I booked three nights because the place had been remodeled and was under new management, but that was a mistake. Around 9 pm, the smell of marijuana hit me as soon as I walked in. My room was right across from the main desk, and the smell was so strong I used a towel to keep smoke from coming in through the night. I couldn't sleep and ended up with a bad headache. The deadbolt wouldn't lock, either, so I booked another hotel that morning. A nice, very friendly Jamaican woman told me they couldn't do anything about people smoking, even though the smoke was coming from the front desk. I know it's not a three- or four-star hotel, but staff smoking at night is something they could be more mindful of. You get what you pay for, I guess. I'm glad I found somewhere much better, smoke-free, clean, and more professional.

We stopped here for a short rest while passing through, and I loved the hotel's modern look. It had just been completely renovated, and everything was so clean. The beds were comfortable and the pillows nice and fluffy. We'll definitely stay again.
