Fulton Steamboat Inn

The all-you-can-eat breakfast at the restaurant on site was delicious, and we still love coming here every Christmas season. This visit, though, missed a few of the little touches we usually look forward to: the bathroom duck wasn't Christmas-themed, the claw machine had ordinary plushies instead of holiday ones, and the lobby coffee was only warm. The bathroom cleaning details seemed to be slipping too. None of that is a big deal, but those sweet extras made the place more memorable. The decor and attention to detail are usually fantastic.

We keep coming back, three years in a row so far, and are planning another stay next year. The place is beautifully maintained, both inside and out, and the rooms are enormous with big furniture. The rooms, halls, and furnishings all give it a steamboat feel. We always choose the Family Style breakfast, where you can get free seconds of everything. There's also a cozy bar that makes good drinks.

Families will appreciate the playground, and the pool and hot tub make it easy to unwind on site. The whole property is beautiful and consistently spotless. We love staying at the Fulton Steamboat Inn because it has a character that other hotels don't. From the entrance, the music and warm, homey feel put you at ease. It feels cared for and welcoming, and we leave refreshed and eager to return.

The steamboat look runs throughout the hotel, which makes it a fun place to stay. We visited on a chilly February weekend in the off season and had a great time. Our room was warm, clean, and cozy, and the pool and spa were just right.
