I’m avoiding Wyndham after this experience. I was told to pay for the room essentially under the table, and the staff member made up prices on the spot, then asked me to choose one when I questioned him. I paid a deposit by card, but weeks after checkout it still hadn’t been returned, despite being told it would be processed that day. When I called, I was told I couldn’t have paid by card, even though my bank statements prove it. After seeing an extra 100 under miscellaneous on the reservation, he said he didn’t know what it was for and I’d need to speak with his manager another day. I’ve been passed around ever since. Corporate was no help either, hung up on me, and said there was literally nothing they could do. Pay the deposit in cash and don’t leave without getting it back, because otherwise they won’t return it.

The location is convenient, with the main road within walking distance and gas stations, grocery stores, and just about anything else nearby. It’s mostly quiet, and I didn’t hear anything after dark. I saw no bugs at all, and police patrol the area, so once I was in my room I wasn’t too worried. The staff were excellent. I asked for towels, and they were in my room before I got back. The manager and front desk were nice, and I enjoyed the stay. I’ll return. This hotel is a hidden gem.

The staff were welcoming and quick to help, and check-in and checkout were easy. Restaurants and shops nearby made the location convenient. My room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything seemed well maintained. It was an affordable, comfortable stay with good value for the price. I’d stay here again next time.

People were openly selling drugs in the parking lot day and night, and the property felt unsafe. I couldn’t relax or sleep without worrying about being robbed or bitten. There were bed bugs everywhere, and the place was disgusting. Management did nothing. This Super 8 should be shut down until they clean it up and improve security.

They fit us in when we booked at the last minute, which was helpful. But the room wasn’t very clean and the sheets were stained. It’s okay for a quick crash, but not worth what it costs.
