We just needed a basic clean place to rest during a road trip, and this was mediocre at best. Dust and hair had gathered in the corners of the bathroom floor, where a quick sweep would have taken care of it. I wasn’t comfortable with the bed topper or blanket touching me because I couldn’t tell whether they’d been cleaned. I showed the desk clerk the online rate, and he matched it, so I didn’t book online.

I booked online at the last minute. Staff were really nice when I arrived, including when I needed to switch rooms. I hadn’t mentioned in my notes that I needed a ground-floor room, but she kindly arranged the change. Everything was perfect.

The place is run down. Neither the wall heater nor cooler worked, so they put a portable heater in the room instead. The shower curtain rod was coming loose, and the sink had no working water.

It’s 2:52 am on the second night of our three-night stay, and once again I’ve been kept awake all night. Things get out of control, and nobody tries to calm the situation. I’ll never stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The shower doesn’t get hot. Breakfast was just mini muffins and Raisin Bran, with no waffles, eggs, or sausage.
