Luxury Inn & Suites Forrest City

I've never had a worse hotel experience. We got there early, and checking in even two hours ahead would have cost $40. The room was $48, so we weren't doing that. My friends were already there, as far as I knew, so I pulled around and messaged them to ask if I could wait in their room until check-in. The concierge, who'd apparently been watching me on the cameras, walked around the building and said I couldn't park in the empty hotel lot. When I explained I was visiting friends, she said I couldn't go to another room, and each extra guest would cost another $50, on top of the $40 early fee. What would have been a $48 stay at this cheap motel would have come to about $150 just for me.

The washcloths were stained and had black, curly hairs on them. The towels were stained too, with hair twisted into the fabric, and the bathroom floor was filthy. Photos attached.

The shower had great water pressure, and I'd stay here again for sure. Our room was clean and roomy, and the microwave, fridge, and flat-screen TV all worked fine. The linens were a little dated, but the owners were very friendly and welcoming. It was quiet and peaceful, and for less than $250 a week, it's the best deal around.

The room had dust, the walls were thin enough that I could hear everything other guests said, and the toilet kept needing two or three flushes. Wi-Fi connected but had no internet. I called several times, and all I was told was that they'd restart the router. I knew there wouldn't be breakfast at this price, but other hotels at least had coffee. The only thing that suggested luxury was the wording on the door access card. The room itself didn't.
